NeW MoOn FeVeR BaBy!!!

Yes, I did it. I went to New Moon on opening night!! Was it worth it? I answer with a high spirited YES!!! I loved the books, but to see it on the big screen in "real life" makes it so much better. New Moon was the hardest book for me to get through. I have always been an Edward fan...until this movie. Now I'm wondering what the heck is Bella's problem. Why anyone would choose a pale non muscles vampire over and tan, built, half dressed warewolf is beyond me! I do realize that it's fake but still. Come on Bella!
So a group of us got together and loaded up in my van (aka the New Moon Party Van) and we went to the Pizza Factory in Ogden at the Junction. We ate dinner there and swindled our way to a free pizza.(Good job Bethanie). Then after a lot of laughs we headed over to the theater and sat down to enjoy the awesomness of the New Moon. We had a fun night and enjoyed ourselves...maybe a little bit too much.

All of us at the Pizza Factory... Jen, Bethanie, Me, Trish, Andrea and Maria

I should've taken more pictures of the van. I wrote on all the windows. Other statements included: Love Bites, Fang or Fur, Bite Me, I love Jacob, I love Edward and New Moon or Bust! While we were in the movies, someone thought they'd be clever and erase some of the letters to say something else. Oh well. Atleast we got this one.

Sewing?..Me?... Ok I'll give it a try!!!

This is my latest crafting adventure. I got this cute pattern from my best friend Jen. She had made these stockings last year and they turned out cute. I just bought a sewing machine and decided I'd give it all a try. Mind you I have NEVER sewn anything before. But although they have their little imperfections, I am still impressed with how cute they turned out. I'm excited to use them this year and see how much Santa will fill mine up for all of my hard work.

Fall Time Fun

The kids wanted to play in the leaves last weekend. We don't have trees in our yard, so this posed a problem. Do you think that stopped us? Nope! Luckily, we have a park behind us with LOTS of trees. Chad loaded the kids in the wagon and we carried a rake with us. It was FREEZING cold outside but the kids still had a blast.

Riley making a pile of leaves to jump into

Cami burried in the leaves

Trev could only handle being partially burried

Chad and all the kids. We had the girls' friend Carly out to play with us too

Paityn's Room

I am FINALLY done decorating Paityn's room. I really am pleased with how it turned out. What really impresses me the most is that I made half of the things in her room. I am now a master at mod podge. It was fun. Now where's the baby?

CHEESE!!!

This is really the CUTEST thing and the funniest thing I've ever seen. When you get the camera out and go to take a picture of Trev, he says CHEESE and closes his eyes. I think he closes his eyes because when you smile, your eyes kind of squint. I laugh everytime. He is such a cute kid.

P.S. Yes his hair is red and staying red.

And They're Off!!!!

On Thursday last week I was FINALLY able to get my braces off. At first I couldn't tell a big difference, but the more I looked at my teeth the more changes I noticed. I love having the braces off and I love the results.

All Hallows Eve

We had a good Halloween this year. The weather was so perfect for a Halloween night. Couldn't have asked for better. The trick or treaters came in abundance even though we live at the end of the street at sort of a dead end. Our kids had fun dressing up. Riley was Sharpay from High School Musical. Cami was a witch and Trev was an adorable green frog. This year we were lucky enough to have Katie and Scott take our kids out trick or treating. What awesome parents these two are going to make. They were gone for about 30 minutes and when they came back the kids' eyes were huge with anticipation of dumping out their bags of candy. Trevor didn't care who's candy it was. If it looked good he wanted it. It was a fun night. Thanks again Katie and Scott. You guys are the best.

Rain + Pregnant Lady In Heels= Disaster

I have no picture with this post but I do have a funny/embarrassing story. On Friday I decided that after I dropped Cami off at school, I'd race over to Hobby Lobby for some scrapbook paper and then race back to Cami's school in time for her Halloween parade. I pulled up to Hobby Lobby with time to spare, and ran inside for what was supposed to be a 2 minute trip. I left Riley and Trev in the car because Trev was asleep. I get through the door that enters into the front of the store where the registers are and it just so happens that the store was pretty busy. 4 or 5 costumers as well as employees were in attendance. I'm on the phone and in a hurry so I'm walking pretty fast. My feet hit the tile of the entry way. First step...good. Second step...not so good. My right heel slipped to the inside of my body. I knew I was going down, I just didn't know in what kind of fashion. I go down to my right in super slow motion. Land on my knee and continue all the way down to my right elbow, because I was still talking on the phone, ending up in a clumsily pose similar to a highschool volleyball picture I once took...laying on my side, elbow on the ground, head in hand. This time no smile on my face. Just sheer embarrassment. I jump back up onto my feet and continue to the back of the store to get my paper. As I finish picking out my paper, a woman who is an employee and just happened to be walking into the store right behind me and was able to witness the fantastic display of style, proceeds to tell me that I need to fill out an Incident Report since employees witnessed the fall. Long story short and 20 minutes later of what was supposed to be a 2 minute trip, I exit the store with purchased scrapbook paper in hand and a copy of my incident report as well. I get in my car and Riley asked what took so long. I replied, "Mommy is a clutz and slipped and fell in the store." I ended up making it to Cami's parade and program because as it turns out it wasn't supposed to start until later. So after all of that I didn't need to hurry through the store. Oh well, atleast I have a good story to tell. (P.S. Me and the baby are fine! No injury was had by any of the participants involved in the Hobby Lobby Flop)
