Yes, it's true, today I turn the big 3-1! I'm not as bummed as I was last year when turning 30. I mean once your in your 30's who cares about one more year? This year will bring great things and big changes. My oldest will be turning 10, wow!! My baby will be born, bringing the grand total to FIVE!! Wow! Chad and I will celebrate our 11th anniversary. My grandparents will be celebrating their 60th anniversary...WOW! My brother and sister in law will be sealed in the temple for time and all eternity and I will be able to witness this union. The list could go on and on. The bottom line is I'm blessed. SO BLESSED!! I am a wife to a wonderful husband. A mother to 4 almost 5 awesome kiddos. The daughter and grand daughter to some truly amazing people and great examples. I have been blessed with great friends who somehow always know just when to pop in and say "Hi". These last thirty years have been nothing but fantastic and as I look back and see how much I have been blessed, I figure, one more year equals more blessings. Sure it means getting older as well, but as I get older I gain knowledge. The kind of knowledge that only comes with age. The kind of knowledge that tells you to keep your mouth shut and let your kids learn for themselves just like you did. The kind of knowledge that tells you that it may be raining now but there are sunny days right around the corner, just endure through the darkness. The kind of knowledge that tells me that I really couldn't have it any better then I have it now. To that I say, happy birthday to me. More knowledge, blessings and life spent with the ones I love.
