Home Sweet Home

We're still here!!! GEEZE it's been a while!!! Let me try and catch you all up to speed. The reason I haven't been posting very much lately is because... WE'RE MOVING!!! We started thinking about it a couple months ago and decided we'd try and sell our house next year in the fall. I kept pressuring Chad because it just seemed to me to be the right time to try it. So we decided to move on a Monday. We called our realator on Wednesday, he came out on Thursday, posted our house online on Friday, someone called on Saturday and came to look at it on Sunday. By Monday he made an offer and on Tuesday it was sold. We had 6 other people come and look at it too. So then we thought we'd better get to looking for a new house since we had to be out in a month and a half. So we started looking and found NOTHING that we felt like home in. After a few changes in price range and search criteria we were able to find our new home. I'll admit we didn't fall in love with it right away. It is 3 years old but very beat up on the inside. We have a lot of work to do before we move in...mostly painting and cleaning but that's to be expected in any new house right? So we struggled with what we should do and we decided that this was the house we should buy and live in for the next step of our lives. So we offered and counter-offered for what seemed like FOREVER...and finally got tired of it all and were able to settle and a suitable price. We're very excited. It has 5 bedrooms... 2 of which are down in the unfinished basement. It has 2 bathrooms...and the master has a huge jetted tub. It has a mud room and a three car garage. A covered deck in the back and the backyard butts up to a HUGE city park. Which means we will NEVER have backyard neighbors and also most likely NEVER have neighbors on the west side of us because there's a parking lot there. We move in less then 2 weeks and we can't wait to get in and make it ours. Her are some pictures of our new abode...

This is a picture of the entry way from the dining room area. I LOVE the entry. The tile is amazing and it's tiled in all the major high traffic areas
