Soccer in St. George...and other fun activities

This is a very long post, I had a lot of pictures to put on here and I couldn't choose so I pretty much put all of them on here. Riley had a soccer tournament in St. George over President's Day weekend. We were so excited to get to warmer weather and be able to watch some outdoor soccer. So we rented a house and invited some family to come along and away we went. We were there from Wednesday to Monday. We had so much fun. The house we rented was perfect and was so much better then a hotel room. We had all of us, my mom, Nate and Penny and their kids and Andrew and Jenny and their kids. It was nice to have a room for everyone and have a place to cook dinner and play outside. Riley's team did AWESOME!! They won their first three games 3-0. Then they lost in the semi final game which was very sad. We thought for sure they'd go all the way. They did really good though. We got to go on a few hikes while we were there as well. They were so much fun. Our kids did so good. They walked the whole thing all by themselves. Even pait, she did not want to be held. We also had the opportunity to go to the temple. It was beautiful. I'm so glad we took the time to go. Of course we went shopping, found some good deals and some very tasty treats at the chocolate store. It was a great trip and I can't wait to go back again. I am trying to convince Chad to buy a vacation home down in St. George so that we can go anytime we want. I think it's totally worth it.

Team huddle after their loss. There were a few tears.

Riley was still smiling though. Cute girl

The swing set in the backyard. The backyard had fake grass all through it, which was awesome. It was so real looking and what a great idea.

Getting ready for some marshmallow roasting.

We played A LOT of Uno. Cami is the game playing queen. We had a lot of fun around that table.
Chloe, Hailey and Makelle, Kaelynn, Riley, Paityn, Cami, Trev and Tanner all in front of the temple.

Swinging

I need a new lens for my camera so that I can zoom in closer from far away. This could've been a way better picture. They were sitting on top of this huge rock.

Grandma and her kiddos.
Cute Pait

Before we left to go home, we stopped at this park for a picnic. There were a ton of baseball fields. Turns out that field number 3 was where they filmed High School Musical 2. Naturally we had to take some pictures.

I love this picture. They were climbing up through a hole in the rock.

On the edge

My Mama and me.

Cami was a climber. She was all over those rocks.

Valentine's Day!!

I have the SWEETEST husband in the world. He loves his kiddos and it shows all the time but especially on little holidays like Valentine's Day. He always wants his kids to know how much he loves them so he bought each of the kids their own little treat and wrote them each a little note telling them how much he loves them and why. How sweet is that? The kids loved it. Valentines Day was a pretty good day in the King household. The kids got their treats, I made Chad a candy bouquet, and Chad got me my first, but not last, pair of Sanuks. We shopped at Tai Pan and got some cute stuff. We had a GREAT dinner and chocolate dipped strawberries. What could be better?

Trevy loved his spiderman box

Paityn didn't much care what her box looked like, she just wanted the chocolate.

Riley was cute and helped each of the kids read their valentines.

Cam Jam loved her Valentine skittles.

This is what I made for Chad. I bought a bunch of candy bars and made up a little poem candy gram. Then I stuck them all into a little pot. It was a big hit.

We're Having A...

Yep, that's right...we're having another girl. I was shocked to say the least. I was 100 percent positive that this little bundle I'm carrying was going to be a bouncing baby boy. So when the technician checked to see the sex of this baby and I saw nothing there, I held my breath and searched for something...ANYTHING! We had Cami and Trev and Paityn in the room with us and we wanted it to be a surprise, so we asked the tech to write the word boy or girl on the screen. When I saw the "G" of girl I yelled, "No way!!" Chad and I were both in a state of unbelief. I had her check two more times just to make sure. It's pretty clear that this little bundle is going to be a girl. After the initial shock wore off, we got so excited. We told the kids that they would be having another sister by putting pink balloons in this big cardboard box. It was so fun to see their excitement as they opened the box and saw the pink balloons fly into the air. So fun. We couldn't be more happy. Another princess joins the Kings.
