King Family Traditions

Every Year in the fall we take a picnic dinner up to the canyon to see all the pretty leaves that are changing colors. We eat our dinner and then head out in hopes of snapping a few cute pictures of the kids. This year we visited the same spots as normal and we even found a couple of cute hideouts. The kids loved it and we had a great time. The weather was perfect. We went up Monday night just in time before the storm hit. We always go too late and the leaves are already on the ground. Not this year. Prime time for the colorful fall leaves!!! Here are some pictures of the evening.

The Circus

Grandma and Grandpa King gave Cami and the rest of us tickets to the circus. I had never been to the circus because that's no the typical place a person who is afraid of clowns to be. But luckily the clowns didn't come close to me. We had fun. What a great show. There was so much to see and it is INCREDIBLE the things these people get the animals to do. For example...Training horses to dance or seperate themselves by color... Train elephants to sit or carry you around in their mouth by the leg... Train Tigers to obey you when you tell them to sit or lay down. It's crazy. I did realize that out of all the animals at the circus I am most like the tigers. I'll do what you ask me to do but I'll be mad about it the whole time and I'll growl and swipe at you to try and get you but I'll obey eventually. We had so much fun and the girls loved it. Thanks gma and gpa King.

Camis's Birthday Events

I'm finally getting more pictures on here of Cami's birthday. I had fun decorating and as you can tell the theme was a Hawaiian Luau. We had Hawaiian hay stacks and fresh fruit and the punch was pineapple juice some fruit punch and some sherbert ice cream. We had a blast and hopefully Cami thought it was awesome too.

It's SOCCER Season!!!

Riley just started her fall season of soccer. She is no longer doing AYSO but a rec/club team called Rampage. She is getting SO good at soccer and is getting more and more aggressive. After the games she usually says something like "so and so grabbed my jersey and I almost swung my hand at her hand to get her off"... Of course Chad and I say "DO IT!!!". How do you teach a child to be aggressive on the field or court and a sweetheart everywhere else? She seems to be doing great figuring that one out herself.

Singing in the Rain

My kids wanted to play in the rain so bad the other day...and I was a sucker and let them. It was so fun to see how Trevor tries to be just like his sisters and do everything they do.

A Tribute to Cami

Yesterday was Cami's 4th birthday. I hope she had a good day. We woke up at 7 to open presents before Chad had to go to work. Then we had waffles for breakfast. After that we got ready and we went to McDonalds for lunch. Cami was supposed to have school today but her school got canceled because the teacher's son got diagnosed with the swine flu. YIKES!!! So we came home for a rest and waited for Riley to get home from school. As soon as she got home we jumped in the car and headed over to meet Chad at Chuck E Cheese for some pizza and fun...Cami's pick of course. We got home and had a bath and some cupcakes and then it was off to bed after a long fun day. Happy birthday Camden June. Keep making us laugh. We love you so much!!!

Summer's Not Over Yet

Last Saturday Chad was working out in the yard and the girls really wanted to run through the sprinklers. So Chad turned them on and they were so excited. Trev even wanted in on the action. It wasn't too hot this day but they had fun anyway. What a way to drag summer out a little bit longer.

Cami's First Day of Preschool

Cami had her first day of preschool yesterday. She was a little scared and worried and she didn't want me to leave her there. I finally convinced her to let me go... a little bribe of ice cream never hurt anyone. Her teacher said it took her a bit to warm up but she did and she had so much fun. She wouldn't stop talking about it on the way home. I can't believe she's in preschool. Isn't she so stinkin cute?!!!

Outside her teacher's house. At this point she wasn't too worried...

This car is SWEET

Chad's uncle bought a new Nissan Cube and it was such a fun looking car. I asked him if I could get my picture with it and he threw the keys at me and said take it for a ride while you're at it. I jumped in and cruised without any hesitation. It was so fun.I want one of these only green!!!

Our trip to the zoo

My parents came into town on Wednesday last week and didn't stay long enough. They visited us one day, Nate the next, and then Andrew. On Saturday we went ALL went to the zoo. It was a perfect day weather wise but the zoo was very crowded. We had fun and got to spend time all together. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the fun trip. Next time you'll HAVE to come and stay longer...like FOREVER!!!

The Many Faces of Trevor

This is Trev to a "T"...no pun intended!! He is either curious, happy or mad. He's a character and he makes us laugh. This particular time he didn't want his picture taken but Grandma and Grandpa got him to smile. I just happened to catch everything in between.

Curious

Mad

Happy...(I like this one best)

Finally Finished

I have finally finished decorating the girls' bedroom. I think it turned out cute. The pictures don't do it justice but I hope you can tell what's what.

Hot Rod

Our friend Scott came over to get his daughter the other day and he pulled up in this. I was so excited and needed to get some pictures of my kids in this car. Trevor loved it and wanted to only be in the drivers seat so he could beep the horn. It was so loud and apparently can move really fast. Next time you'll have to take me for a spin Scott!!!

Bubbles Galore

I know this may be a little risky to show on my blog but I had to. The girls have been totally into taking bubble baths in the big jetted tub. They use a TON of bubbles and have a blast decorating themselves. I love how many bubbles Riley has stacked on her head.
