Sunday night we decided to have a bubble blowing contest. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to just hang out as a family and laugh together. After a sick cruddy weekend it was nice to have some fun.

Think he's jealous???

Trevor has been a little clingy to Chad this last week. He must not be getting enough attention from me so he's turning to his dad. He now uses a pink pacifier and he loves to play in Paityns bouncer. He's huge so I had to take a picture of him in it. What a funny boy.

I LOVE CLOROX

Starting Thursday night, we had a case of the stomach flu hit our house. YUCK!!! Cami woke up and came upstairs saying she was going to thro up. We rushed to the bathroom where she wasn't able to get anything out. We gave her a drink and a bowl and sent her back downstairs. Paityn woke up in the middle of all of this so I began to feed her. Chad laid back down and about 15 minutes later, I heard Cami puking. I yelled for Chad and he went down and helped her. She threw up two more times and then that was it. Last night, Saturday night, Trevor went to bed feeling fine. one hour later we heard coughing coming from Trev's room. Chad went in and found a HUGE pile of vomit in Trevs crib and on Trev. Chad cleaned that all up, while I gave Trev a bath, and put him back to bed. He threw up two more times before we went to bed. We have disinfected the WHOLE house twice now. We're hoping that nobody else gets it. Keep your fingers crossed.

A Bull in a China Shop

Trevor LOVES to help clean...except when he is supposed to. on this particular night, we had my family over and I was cleaning up from dinner. He saw me and he wanted a lysol wipe and broom of his own. He chose to clean the dishwasher. He cleaned it so well he could see himself in it. Usually when Trev is in the kitchen he's getting on the counter or into the drawers leaving the place a BIG MESS!! Not this time though. Thanks Trev!!!

Puppies for Grandma

Here are some pictures of the kiddos playing puppies with Grandma. This is a game that was started a few years ago with my kids and my mom. All the kiddos make up a puppy name for themselves and then Grandma calls each of them by name and has them do a trick for a puppy treat. Thank you grandma for being so GREAT! We love you!!!

Family...Fun...and Fish? (or lack thereof)

My parents were able to come up for a visit at the beginning of January. They came up to meet their new grand daughter Paityn, but of course had to give every other grandkid their undivided attention. So we had a sleepover with Nate and Penny's kids. Oh what a blast they all had. They stayed up late, watched a movie and ate popcorn, and played puppies with Grandma with treats and all. Then the next day we went sledding. It hadn't snowed one bit for a week and the snow that was already there was solid ice. We ventured out there anyway and made an attempt. We were one of the many families out there that walked off the hill without any injuries. There were kids with bloody noses and lips and bumped heads. It was crazy. Then we had everyone up for a dinner of shrimp and chicken nuggets. We were going to have ciopinno...a seafood soup...but could not find all of the ingredients so we settled for shrimp. It was so good and the company was even better. I LOVE when my family comes. I miss them all so much and it is always good to get everyone together. Thanks mom and dad for coming. We can't wait for the next time...Is it going to be soon? I hope!!! Love you all.

Grandpa and Hailey...Hailey did NOT want to go down the hill. Every time Grandpa got close to going up the hill, Hailey bailed out of the sled.

Birth Announcements

Here is the baby announcement for Paityn Lola. We had her pictures taken and then we were going to order some baby announcements online. When we discovered how much baby announcements are we had a change of plans and Chad decided to take it into his own hands and create the baby announcement himself. So here it is. I think he did a pretty good job.

Pictures of Paityn

Paityn had a photo shoot last Saturday. My neighbor, Kari, has her own photography business and she captured some really sweet shots of Paityn for me. I love all of them. The hard thing was picking the ones I wanted for her baby announcement. Isn't she sweet?!!
P.S. The tutu was made by my best friend Jen. Isn't it so stinkin cute? She did a great job!!!

She was getting hungry

I love this one!! She is totally smiling!

Sledding on the Base

A couple of days ago we went up to the base and went sledding down the biggest hill I have ever sledded on. I was a bit nervous to go down but the kids were all for it. They loaded on the sled with Chad and took turns going down the hill. I went down with Trev the first time and realized that the hill was that fast. So I went a few more times and then I was tired of walking up the hill. The kids would walk down the hill and back up EVERYTIME even if it wasn't their turn.It was fun. Now we're planning on when we can go back.

On Christmas Day, after we celebrated at our house, we went to the King's house to see family. The kids got to open up more presents and see what their cousins got and they had so much more fun. Grandma and Grandpa got a Wii this year for Christmas and the kids had fun playing with that. We hung out, ate dinner, opened presents and had a fun time with family. All in all it was a pretty good day.
