Update!...February
February was another snow filled FREEZING month. I couldn't believe that the snow stuck around that long. But the temperatures were absolutely freezing and I was so happy when February was over. So we didn't do much in February. We celebrated Valentine's Day though. We had red juice, heart shaped pancakes and opened our presents from our valentines. Chad got me the sweetest thing. It's a ring that has a heart on it and in the middle of the heart is engraved C&A! I love it so much. I was surprised that he got it for me. Riley was sweet and got everyone a little gift. I love seeing her give like that. She paid with her own money and picked each one out herself. I love watching her watch the person open their gift from her. She is always so excited. February wasn't very eventful, but sometimes that's how I like it.
Quincy's green hand is from her little adventure with a package of fun dip. She sucked on the bag until it got soggy and ripped open. She loved that sugary stuff. She kept licking her hands, even after her nap. So cute!
Update!...January
January was a blur. All I remember was that there was A LOT of snow! We had fun though. We celebrated New Years together playing the Wii and popping balloons loaded with confetti at midnight. We went sledding and the kids had a ball with that. We just hung out inside staying warm!
And just because they're so cute, here's a few pictures of Quincy and Paityn! Quincy is such a happy girl. I was trying to get a picture of her two teeth on the bottom but I couldn't do it. She is still so stinking sweet isn't she?
Update!...December
December was such a fun month. We celebrated Paityn's third birthday, we welcomed home Kiley from her mission in Taiwan, we made snowmen, decorated ginger bread houses, celebrated Christmas in Utah and California and just had an amazing month. I don't think I stopped smiling all month. It was a month of go, go, go but it was so fun and tons of good memories were made.
We got spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Baker again this year. And Santa was good to us as well. All the kids were so happy with what they got. Trev got his gun. Riley and Cami got MP3 players. Pait got a doll and Quincy got food so she was happy too.
We had the third annual polar bear swim at the ranch. It was sunny this year which was a good thing because the water was soooooo cold! Nate and I won for the best costumes although Nate cheated because his was a wet suit! Mckay won the race that day and Cara wasn't far behind. I can't believe those kids did that.
Sorry, this posted twice
Trevor loves helping my dad work while we are at the ranch. He helps him drive the garbage cans to the end of the road, drive the tractor, make popcorn and anything else that needs to be done. Love that kid!
Nate and I were the last ones to jump in. It was so cold!
Making our stockings! I love this tradition. Nate and Mckay have a contest every year to see who can make the best stocking. It gets pretty funny.
We did the nativity on Christmas Eve at Papa and Grandma Gay's. Riley and Kaelynn were the sheep, Hailey was Mary, Quincy was the baby Jesus and the rest were shepherds I think.
Decorating gingerbread houses at the Kings. I love watching the kids decorate their masterpieces. They get so creative and it's so cute to watch.
Paityn's birthday was so fun. We celebrated over at Jim and Kathy's house with family. She had so much fun.
Had to throw this one in. One day Paityn came out of her room looking like this. I asked her if she had been coloring. She said she had. I asked her what she colored on. She said a coloring book. I asked her if she colored on anything else. She said no. Not the walls or her bed or on herself? Nope! Just the book. I took this picture and then asked her to go look in the mirror. What a funny girl!
