Happy Seventh Anniversary!!

Seven Years!!! Wow!! Time has flown by. I can't believe that it was seven years ago today that Chad and I were sealed together in the temple. I do have to say that I have an awesome husband and I know that I made a great choice when I chose him as my husband. We have had a wonderful life together these past seven years and I hope to have many more. I love you Chad...Thank you for loving me.

Summer Games/ Family Vacation

Well we went to Cedar City for the summer games with high hopes of playing good and keeping up with the competition. The only problem with those hopes were that when I was thinking about how the games would go in my mind...we were playing women...you know my age...WOMEN!!! Instead we got there and ended up playing GIRLS. These kids were like 18, 19, and 20.We got wasted.We were out ran, out scored, out jumped... pretty much out played.We had no chance.We did our best but in the end we lost all four of our games.We talked to the head guy over the summer games and mentioned to him that he should start an older women's league so that we could have a chance.We played good but these girls were just too spunky.You know you're getting old when you can see the age difference in the way you play.Dangit!!! I was hoping that this day would never come.

Chad and the kids came with us and so did our friends Sam and Jen. Sam and Jen were awesome and helped watch the kids that my teammates brought. And they cheered me on as I was panting up and down the floor. Other then watching me play all we did was swim and eat and play games late at night. The girls had fun too.They wanted to be in the swimming pool all day long. If it wasn't for mom's basketball games getting in the way and ruining their plans, they could've.


Cami and Riley were beat at the end of each day because of the swimming and also because they were running around and playing basketball all day long.

Surf's Up Dude!!!

I finally finished the kids' bathroom. I love it.Chad was a little questionable when I opened the can of paint and this bright blue color stared back at him. But now that everything is up and all is decorated...he likes it, I think. The girls are big fans too. They love their surfer girl decor and the fish rug. I'm happy it's done. Now all of my home decor projects are over...That is until I think of another one right?

It's Party Time

This last weekend we went to Lehi to celebrate Kaelynn's birthday. Riley and Cami love going down there so they can play with their cousins. They swam and did the slip n slide. Uncle Nate wiped Cami out of on it but all was well. We had a great time.Happy birthday Kaelynn!!

Trevor's first bite to eat...

Trevor had his first taste of real food tonight...well as real as a baby can get I guess. I fed him some baby oatmeal to try and fill him up a little more before heading off to bed.He's been waking up earlier in the morning these days and that is not a good thing.I hate getting up early. So I tried it and...well...what do you think... and yes he's wearing a purple bib.I couldn't find another one...

Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to Chad and to all the other fathers out there!! We had a great day.It started out by the girls and I getting up early and making breakfast in bed for Chad. The breakfast consisted of made from scratch waffles, with homemade syrup, and then a big glass of milk. Chad was completely knocked out and the girls and I busted through the door with Trev in tow. Chad got up and came downstairs to eat with the rest of us.I guess he felt kind of stupid eating in bed all by himself while the rest of us were downstairs eating at the table. Wierd!!! Then he opened his presents. We got him a set of router bits and a set of plyers and three new shirts.Riley made him a card all by herself and signed everyone's name to it. Then it was off to church.I missed Riley singing with the primary during sacrament meeting because I was nursing Trev. After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa King's house. Great Grandma King was there as well as most of the cousins and Aunts and Uncles.We were missing Tyler and Kelly and their kids...seriously where are you guys?We had a busy day but it was fun.I hope Chad enjoyed it as much as I did.

One of these is not like the other...

Today we got together with my brothers for my nieces birthday. We've had a baby boom in my family this year.Trevor was born in March Tanner (on the left)was born in April and Chloe (on the right) was born in May. This is the first time we've had them all together and it's so funny to see the differences in the babies. Trevor is by far the biggest.Tanner is the tallest and Chloe is definately the prettiest. Trev looks like the only white boy in this picture though.He does not look like he belongs.

8 Things You May Not Know About Me:
Riley:
1. When I was born I was 8 lbs. 1 oz. and I had black hair. Now I'm a petite little girl with very blonde hair.
2. I started gymnastics when I was 18 months old. I loved it.I was really good and I could do lots of tricks because I listened to the coach and did what she asked me to do. I practiced and got better and better. I'm not in gymnastics anymore but I am going to start them up again soon.
3. I love horses!!! I told my mom that I want to get a horse and keep it in our backyard. Mom told me that the horse would eat all of our grass and then poop a ton in the backyard and then what would we do? I told her that I would pick up the poop and I would feed it and take care of it. Mom told me not to hold my breath.
4. I want to be a mom when I grow up. I love talking about having my own kids and taking care of them when I'm older.
5. I have a bunch of boyfriends. Right now my main squeeze is Daxton Robertson. He is a cute boy and we both told our moms that we are going to marry eachother in the temple after Daxton gets home from his mission.
6. I'm very shy. I'm quiet most of the time especially if I don't know you. It takes me a while to warm up but once I do I am a fun girl who loves to play.
7. I learned how to read when I was three. I could read full sentences and some small books when I was three. Now I'm starting to read chapter books. The ones I'm reading right now are Junie B. Jones.
8. I love writing. I love making up stories or making cards for my family members. I'm a good writer and I love to draw too.

Camden:
1. When I was born I had red hair and my mom said that I was going to be a fire cracker. She was right.
2. I love to make people laugh. I'm a goof ball and I will do whatever it takes to get anyone to laugh...over and over and over.
3. I love to talk. I can talk all day long and never get tired of hearing my own voice. My mom sometimes says "Cami all I need is two seconds of quiet" whatever that means.
4. I was potty trained at 18 months old. I loved using my Dora Explorer potty seat so I started to use it and became a pro really fast.
5. I love to help my mom take care of Trevor. Sometimes I'll take care of him while mommy gets ready and Trevor is sitting in his bouncer seat. My favorite thing to do is pull the seat back and count to three and then let it fly. Hold on tight Trevor.
6. I already have my husband picked out. His name is Tage and we have a love/hate relationship. We like to play together but almost always it ends up in a fight.He's younger then me so I have to take care of him and tell him what to do. I tell him that we're going to get married and he agrees. What else can he do.
7. I can't wait to go to school like Riley does and then I can ride the bus with my sister and that will be fun.
8. I love dogs and cats as long as they don't come close to me. I like to look at them from a distance and maybe someday I'll let them come close enough to pet them.

Trevor:
1. I was born three weeks early and I still weighed 8 lbs. and 2 ozs. Mommy calls me Trevor the Tank or T-Rex because I'm so big.
2. I started sleeping through the night when I was a month and half old.
3. I love watching people talking to me. I like to see new and familiar faces and when they do funny things I smile.
4. I love to be touched. When I was born the nurses and mommy and daddy tried to wake me up or keep me up by tickling me or by scratching my back and I would relax and let them keep trying cause it felt so good.
5. One time I pooped on my mom while she was changing my diaper.I tried to tell her to let me finish...she didn't listen.
6. I can fart as big as a grown man.
7. My farts stink worse then a grown man's.
8. My favorite place to be is in my bouncer seat with one balnket in my hands and the other wrapped around my face.I sleep a long time like that if my sisters are quiet.

The newest member of KISS

Cami and Riley were fighting a lot yesterday so I had had enough and sent them to their room. Since they share a room I put Cami in my room. That was my first mistake. After a few minutes Cami came out to ask me something and I didn't even look at her because I was busy making dinner so I sent her back into my room to finish her timeout. That was my second mistake. After a few more minutes Chad got home and I figured I would let them out of timeouts and then Chad would have to deal with them for a little while. Cami came down to tell Chad hello and Chad said "Cami you need to go wash your face you have makeup all over it". So I walked over to see and as Cami, with hesitation, turned around to face me I noticed these black streaks rolling down her face. I took her back upstairs and asked her to show me what she put on.She pulled out the mascara and said with a smile "I put the black stuff on Mommy". I gave her a talking to and told her that she was in trouble.She started crying and I ran down the stairs to get the camera.As I pulled the camera up to take the picture Cami tried to smile and I started cracking up and then so did she. So I took the picture and told her that since she was crying she made her makeup run and that we better go wash it off. I tell you I knew from the start that she was going to be a tough one. I sure do love her though.

We finally got rid of the nasty brown dirty carpet under our dining room table.That stuff was so disgusting!!! I am so happy that we did it though...and now that it's done...so is Chad. We are so excited about it.We can't clean it yet so we're still dealing with dirty floors but who cares.It looks good.

Mini Hannah Montana

Riley LOVES Hannah Montana. She has her CD's and knows all of the songs. So for her birthday my mom...Grandma Cindy... bought her this night gown.She loves it.She wanted to have a bath and go to bed early just so she could wear Hannah to bed.

Happy Happy Birthday Riley Dear...

Well the day is done.We had a blast.Riley was worn out after today.She got up early because she was so excited about her birthday and also because Cami woke up early too and wouldn't stop bugging her.So after breakfast in bed... which was one of her things that she wanted for today...she came downstairs and opened her presents.She got all of the things that she wanted and then some.She got ready for her party and was ready to roll.I hope that she had a fun time...I'm pretty sure she did. I still can't believe that she's 6...It's nuts.Cami of course thinks it's her birthday too and luckily Grandma Cindy sent her a couple of presents in Riley's birthday package. We all love Grandma Cindy packages... they're always full of fun stuff.Thanks to everyone who came to the party and thanks for all the fun and cute things.To thos of you who couldn't come...We miss you and love you and wish you could be here to celebrate with us.

Riley's Birthday

She's officially 6 years old and she looked so pretty today.I can't believe that she's actually 6 years old.I just keep thinking that if time doesn't slow down I'm going to find myself soon celebrating a wedding.She's so big...not really she's actually really petite...but she's just getting so big.

We had to sing happy birthday again tonight when Chad got home and we just had enough cupcakes for all of us. So we lit the candles again and sang our hearts out and she got to make another birthday wish.
Daddy of course had to give the 6 birthday spanks!! Riley wasn't too keen on the idea but she's a daddy's girl so she went with it.

Trevor's Smile

Trevor has started smiling and it's so stinking cute. I love it when he tries to laugh too because he totally has a belly laugh. He is so cute. I love this kid!!

Riley's turning 6

I can't believe it... my baby is turning 6! Wow!!! I thought it was wierd this year that I was old enough to have a kid in kindergarten and now I have a 6 year old. I can't believe how time zooms by. I hope that the weather is nice for her party tomorrow. She really wanted to have another swimming party this year but I'm a little worried that it's going to rain so she settled for pin the tail on the donkey and pizza. Hopefully it all goes well. Happy Birthday Riley!!! We love you!!!

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

A group of girls and I started a girls night out...or what we like to call GNO... once a month. This month we decided to go to the Pizza Factory and bowling at the Junction in Ogden. There were 11 of us in total and it was a blast. Of course I talked myself up to being the best bowler there and I did pretty good until I pulled my hamstring on the second bowl. Chad razzed me and told me that I need to stretch before bowling. You know you're getting old when you need to stretch before bowling. We had fun I finished second and toughed it out to the finish. I love these girls...we really get along great and have a lot of fun together. I can't wait for next month...you never know what could happen!!!
